Antique Phones

More than a Century of Telecommunications. The principals of JNT Communications own and operate a museum in Coppell, Texas that houses one of the most complete and diverse collections of antique phones and communications equipment in the Southwest. With phones dating back to the 1890s JNT’s engaging displays feature equipment made by Automatic Electric, Western Electric, Kellogg, Stromberg Carlson, North Electric and many more.  Young and old alike enjoy the working antique telephone phone booth and are able to see operators’ switchboards from the 1900s through the 1960s. JNT’s antique phone museum also features a library of hardback books on telecommunications starting in 1896 and going through the years, as well as many books, papers, and equipment catalogs that telephone companies of days-gone-by used when purchasing their equipment.

A working reproduction of a Central Office step by step switch from the 1960s in is process that will allow museum visitors the fun of dialing a number and having it answered in another place.
